How We Work

We are independent and are interested in supporting work which can be seen as challenging. We are willing to take calculated risks. One of our primary strategies is to fund work that others will not, such as core costs, to help build capacity and power within  organisations enabling them to achieve greater and sustainable impact.

We do not accept unsolicited applications, choosing instead to approach organisations that align with our vision, mission, and values.

Our Strategic Priorities

  • Delivering effective responses to the settlement and integration of refugees and migrant communities in Ireland.

  • Ensuring our reception and protection systems respect the rights and dignity of people seeking protection in Ireland.

  • Achieving equality and access to justice for marginalised and underserved communities, by identifying and tackling structures and systems that deny or undermine rights.

  • Promoting rights and justice for communities who face racism, discrimination, and exclusion.

  • Fostering strong effective leadership within organisations. Building power and leadership in communities on the margins.

  • Building public support for refugee and migration issues by informing and shaping the public debate on migration.

“Migration is an expression of the human aspiration for dignity, safety and a better future. It is part of the social fabric, part of our very
make-up as a human family”
